This Easter weekend Nicole and I were able to go and visit the Anderson cousins. We sadly missed Alex this trip, but the boys all seemed in great spirits. Justin and Dylan were enjoying their new home. Nicole found the toy room the most interesting, spending most of her time there by herself. Also the backyard was enjoyed by all the kids. This was also our second time seeing little baby Ethan. He's gotten so big and looks just like his daddy. Next visit will hopefully include 2 more cousins not seen this trip, Alex of course, and Eric and Jessie little baby Tyler.

I like the above picture because of Nicole's pointed toes, and also Ethan's "What the heck?" look.
Before we let the kids go out and look for the Easter eggs, they of course had to pose for pictures. At least I made Nicole do that. She was very excited and ready to go look for those eggs!

And as soon as they were let out, the kids went searching. Nicole grabbed every egg she could see, filling up her basket rather quickly.

Justin made sure to look into each and every egg to make sure it had good candy. Apparently when he did this at school he didn't check until he got home and found that the eggs had some "bad" candy in them. He wouldn't be duped like that again!

Dylan had a very interesting approach to egg hunting. If the plastic egg was dirty at all, and I do mean at all, it was no good. In the below picture Dylan is quite upset that Eric dared put one of the rejected eggs into his basket.

On Sat we had the egg hunt and BBQ at Eric's new house. From the pictures you can see they have a lot of sand. The kids love the huge sandbox, the adults, maybe not so much. Sand certainly did get everywhere.

Well, Saturday wasn't Easter, so the basket and other Easter Bunny treats were there ready for Nicole to find on Sunday morning. I think the Easter bunny found lots of wonderful gifts for Nicole. Those chicks sing "We got the tweet, we got the tweet, we got the tweet. Yeah! We got the tweet!" and yes, Nicole loves it and plays it and dances to it. I haven't gotten that in a video yet, but I plan to.

And of course Nicole and myself on Easter afternoon after church. It was a great year and I am so glad that Nicole was able to see so many of her cousins, Anderson and Hodson cousins, during this time of year.
For some reason she looks more like you than usual in that last picture. So cute!
