Once again my little girl has an ear infection. For whatever reason she gets sick right before the ear infections come, so we get her into the Dr. as the ear infection is just starting. So Nicole is on her little anti-biotics and hopefully feeling much better. At least she wants to do something besides cuddle now.
I took Nicole to church by myself yesterday since Scott was up with her for most of the night. I made Scott stay home and sleep. Unless I make him, Scott is pretty bad about taking naps. Church by myself with Nicole wasn't bad at all. It did help that Nicole was extrememly cuddely and slept through most of sacrament. It's nice having time to just cuddle with her; it's like she's just a tiny baby who can't do anything for herself again.
The interesting part was during the 2nd and 3rd hour. I play piano for primary and Nicole doesn't really like strangers. I did get her to play with some things next to the piano, but the last half hour of church Nicole just wanted to be held. There was a little time that she was walking around and looked nice and active. Luckily that was during the Jr. Sr. primary switch, so I was able to move around with her. But mad when Nicole crashed, she crashed. She didn't sleep, but she just looked awful. My poor little baby had a tired little body that just need to sit and relax. The Primary Pres. plays as well, so she took over and I took my baby home.
Well, I thought we would have lunch and relax until we needed to go to the Dr. appointment, but Nicole had other plans. We said hello to Daddy and she just laid down with him and slept. It was better that way.
At the Dr. Nicole was at 102 degrees and given some motrin. We got her perscription and headed home. About an hour of 2 later Nicole was good as gold. We had dinner at Grandma's so Nicole had lots of fun commanding her aunts and grandma. They give her what she wants.
So everything turned out good. Nicole has her 18 month appointment next week, so we'll get a Dr. check on her ears then. Today Nicole gets to hang out with Daddy, so she should be having a fantastic day!
