20 Questions about my engagement, marriage and wedding

1. When did you get married? --Sept 16, 2005.

2. Was this your first marriage? --Yes

3. How long were you and your significant other together before getting married?--We meet in April and were engaged in July, then got married in Sept, so about 6 months.

4. How did you meet your significant other? --We met at a regional singles activity. The activity was speed dating, inspired by the movie Hitch. Thank you Will Smith.

5. How did your engagement happen? Who asked who and how? --Scott took me to the beach where we had our first kiss. He even made sure the lifeguard tower we were at was free before he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him. After that we ate at Dennys.

6. Did he ask the parents permission? --Yes, I told him he had to.

7. Was the ring a surprise? Who picked it out? Would you ever get a new one? --Yes. I told Scott that I wanted a solitare with a wrap and he picked out the rest. To this day he knows more about my ring than I do, esp

8. Where was your wedding ceremony and/or reception? --We were married in the San Diego temple. Our receptions were in San Diego and Las Vegas.

9. What were your wedding colors? --I wanted beach type colors. A sandy color and sky blue.

10. What was the weather like on your big day? --It was overcast and windy. The reception was on the next day and it was sunny.

11. Where did you go for pictures? --We had pictures on temple grounds and at the reception. We did engagement pictures at the beach.

12. Did either of you get drunk? --No, nobody got drunk, at least at our parties.

13. What was your wedding song? --We didn't really have one, but we danced to Cole Porter's Delovely.

14. What was your wedding favor/gift? --$$$$$$ baby!

15. Did you smash the cake? --Heck no! Our cake was delicious and the top lasted until our first anniversary and still tasted amazing!

16. Wedding night? --We had a room up in Cardiff. A really cute little bed and breakfast. Since the reception was the next day we stayed there one night and then left to Catalina.

17. Favorite part of your wedding day? --Being married at the end of the day to my husband.

18. Least favorite part? --All the stress!

19. Would you do it all again? --Not the same way. I would make things a lot more simple the next time and do a lot less myself.

20. Where did you go on your honeymoon? --Catalina Island. It was great!
