On Friday Scott had to go to a scout jamboree, so Nicole and I got to have lots of fun! First, we pulled out the makeup. Nicole had lots of fun with things like lip gloss and lipstick. Forget the stupid stuff like the brushes, blush, eye liner, anything like that. She like what she could use. Nicole also learned that lipstick does not taste very good. I think she did a pretty good job at keeping the lipstick to the lips. Pretty impressive for a 17 month old. She'll be a natural at makeup before I master it!
After the makeup Nicole and I had fun in a bubble bath. Well, Nicole was in the bath and I had fun playing with the bubbles and her head. This was Nicole's first bubble bath and she thought it was great. Even before the clothes were off she tried to get in the fun bubbles. After the bath we were going to find some other super fun things to do, but Great Grampa Essary had a special trip to the hospital, so we packed it up and went to visit. Nicole didn't mind all that much, she got to see her most favorite people, Daddy and Grandma Yoder. After our little trip we got to go home and sleep. 
The next morning we got to just sleep and have lots of fun. We went outside and played for a bit on the stairs next to the house. Nicole is getting very good at going up and down the steps. She's a regular pro. Nicole especially liked watching me run up and down the steps. She thought that was fun.
Okay, so maybe it wasn't the most fun, but it's the funnest I know how to do, and the important thing is Nicole had a good time.
