Las Vegas

We got to go to Las Vegas this weekend. Let me just say that driving on Super Bowl weekend is awsome! The traffic really was not that bad. I suppose that's what happens when everyone is watching the game on TV.

We got to spend the weekend with my family, and I am so glad I was able to do that. Nothing is going on with the family or anything like that, I just get a little lonely away from my family.

Nicole had lots of fun playing with her cousins. Alex was of course entertaining and had an unhuman amount of energy. That's okay though, Nicole was entertained. Justin could not stop trying to kiss Nicole. It's really cute watching a 16 month old girl and an 11 month old boy trying to give each other affection. They are the same size, with Justin a tiny bit taller and a tiny bit less coordinated. I think the part I enjoyed the most was when Justin took Nicole's binki and started sucking on it, trying to figure out why anyone would be sucking on the stupid thing. Nicole was not happy to lose her beloved binki, so of course she snagged that back quickly.

I think that is what I like best about visiting my family, watching Nicole and Justin play together. It will be very interesting to see how things go as they both get older.

Now that it's Monday the regular daily grind starts up again. Blah. It would be so nice to just relax and be lazy, but alas, dishes need to get done. Clothes need to be washed, and of course, our bitter bitty needs her due attention.
