Yesterday Scott and I, and Nicole, that's important. We went to a blood donation appointment that Scott had. We all went because we had another appointment after the blood donation, so Nicole and I just waited for Scott to donate blood. I guess having an appointment to donate blood means that you are reminded of what time to come in. It has no affect on what happens when you actually get there. Scott waited just as long as if we had walked into to donation site. Normally that would be fine, but Nicole was deeply upset that she could not be with her daddy, and therefore kept crying out and doing all she could to crawl to her daddy. She's very good at the whole passive resistance thing. Just go limp and lift your arms up, that makes it the most difficult for mommy or daddy to pick you up.
Anyway, we had to wait an hour for Scott, which all in all isn't that bad, but Nicole was not happy about not being with her daddy. Oh, and in case you didn't know, babies are not allowed in the room of a blood donation. We had to wait in a lobby on the other side of the doors. Not in the normal waiting area for the blood donors, but away from all of that. Needless to say Nicole thought that was a really dumb idea. Bless her little sugar tooth, Nicole was great once a very nice saint brought us some of those nice sugar treats they have for the donors. Oh, and once her daddy finally came out and was holding her, Nicole was just a perfect angel. I, on the other hand, was very annoyed!
