Poor Nicole

Last night was not a good night for any of us. Nicole was not the best sleeper, meaning she kept crying and not letting us sleep. She would stay in her crib and when I tried to let her cry she ended up with a lot of snot. That hadn't happened before so already I know she is not her best. Then this morning when I am changing her diaper she really doesn't want me to wipe her. I could tell she was in pain and the only thing I could think was maybe it's a yeast infection. She is red, but I don't notice any discharge. So I'm worried about her.

I work with nurses so I asked about Nicole. So far the diagnosis is a yeast infection. My poor little girl doesn't feel well. She is lots more snuggly but a lot more needy too. I'm waiting to hear back from the Dr. and possibly get an appointment for tomorrow that I can take Nicole to.

I did learn something new, antibiotics can cause a yeast infection. Nicole has been on 3 different antibiotics in the last few months batteling an ear infection, so it's very possible. Oh, poor little girl. I hope she is okay at daycare.
