An Historic Day

So we have a new president now, Barak H. Obama. While I want to keep my political views to myself and not have them all over the web, I also want to make sure important events in my life are recorded. So...

I watched the inaguration yesterday. This has been the first swearing in of a president that I have ever actaually watched. Not just watched, but even listened to. I think for most people it didn't matter if they voted for Obama that made them want to either be at or watch the inaguration, but everyone knows that this is history. Nicole will be learning about this day when she is in her high school history class, and I made sure to be a part of it in the small way that I could be. I know right now America desprately wants a hero to "save" the US from the current troubles. Only time will tell if Obama is that hero, but he definately has an entire country rooting him on.
