Zoo, Beach, and Easter

My brother Eric came down with his family this last week. It was so much having Eric, Jessie, Justin, Dylan, and Tyler. Once I told Nicole that Justin and Dylan were coming she asked me just about everyday when they would get her. She was so excited for her cousins to visit.








Nicole and took her cousins to the zoo. In the above picture Uncle Eric is showing the kiddos where the local reptile is located.

The flamingos are always fun. I didn't get a picture of it, but the local peacocks put up their fans and were trying to establish their dominance. There was one defiant duck that would leave them alone, but other than that I think the other fowl respected the peacock dominance.

Nicole and I had lots of fun. it was great going to the zoo with my brother and all.

After the zoo we took the kids to the beach. Justin asked to see the ocean. There is a definate difference between my California girl and the Vegas boys. Nicole was all over the cold ocean, but Justing and Dylan were a little more, well, less willing to accept the cold water.

See, they had to be draged out just to touch the water. I'm reminded of that scene in Tarzan when the little elephant put in his foot in the water and squealed that it's too cold. They got use to it though. Actually I guess tolorant is the right word. All the kids were having lots of fun. Nicole "fell" in the water acidentally on purpose several times. Dylan fell once and was done. Justin fell once and was done. That's my Cali girl! Love the ocean and beach no matter how cold it gets.

The video below is of the kids playing chase with the tides. The end is shaky because what I didn't get on tape is Dylan falling into the ocean. I think they all had fun though. Enjoy to show!
