My Poor Temple

For most poeple in So Cal (well, mormons) it is known that the San Diego Temple had a bit of a leak problem. What, you hadn't heard? Well there were already plans to redo the roof or something, but after some monsoon like rainstorms, it was discovered that a little more work than originally thought would have to be done on the temple. For a bref time buckets were stationed in the Celestial Room of the temple (think the tower without Moroni-the golden angel-on top) to catch the dripping water. Not too good. So a few weeks ago I took a little visit up to La Jolla and found this for my temple.

Definately not what I expected to find, especially so close to summer and a week away from June.

Anyway, I was driving by today and noticed that even MORE scaffolding was added to this pretty temple (Nicole calls it a castle by the way) so this it what is now looks like.

Okay, so you can't see the other tower very well, I was driving okay! I only had a moment because of those stupid traffic lights to get on the freeway. But you can see the green tarp around Moroni on the far tower.

And to conclude I will leave with a picture of Nicole. This was about a month and a half ago, and I already sent it to my family, but it's just so darn cute! Princess Nicole.

  1. I saw on LDS.org about the temple getting work done on it, but I didn't read the whole article and I didn't know it was leaking. I think that is very cute that Nicole likes to try on shoes and clothes. She is a very cute little girl.
