Rainy Days

Saturday was another rainy day in San Diego. I realize that with the big snow storm of 2010 on the East, a little rain isn't all that special, however, for San Diego rain is an uncommon occurance.

Nicole had lots of fun playing in the rain and splashing in the puddles. She even got some good use out of her little rain coat. Look at that cutie!


With it being a rainy day we couldn't just sit inside, so we went to Wal Mart! Nicole liked the Valentine stuffed animals so much she decided to take her nap with them, she even snored.

One thing I wanted to do was let Nicole pick out a new pair of shoes. What do you think? They sure are cute. Nicole has good tast. Oh, and yes, she did insit on wearing them throughout the entire store, with that string attached to each shoe. It's pretty slow going on only 6 inches at a time.

When we got home Nicole got to enjoy some arts and crafts time, aka, water painting. She enjoy painting her face, her doll's face, even a barbie doll's face more than painting the paper. Well, at least she had fun, right? It's a good thing water paint comes off easily.
