Wicked

Here in San Diego we are being visited by the cast of Wicked yet again. The first time Wicked came to America's finest city was 2 years ago. Wow, that seems like yesterday!! Time flies.

Well, Scott surprised me by actually getting us tickets to see the show when it first came to San Diego. This was truly amazing since the tickets sold out in about 5 seconds, literally. Scott only told me to get off early from work on the day of the play, never telling me why. It was quite the surprise to be taken down to the civic center and enjoy the show.

One of my coworkers absolutely loves Wicked but was unable to get tickets the last time, so, being proactive, she put together a group of us so we could get our group tickets before general tickets go on sale. Sounds great! Not only are they on a slight discount, but we don't have to fight the endless sound of a busy line to get the tickets!

The whole reason why I'm even thinking of this today is because we got our tickets yesterday!! Yeah! I'm so excited. I have my family coming into town to see the show with us. We should have lots of fun and I always like it when my family comes to visit, they don't do it enough. (hint, hint)

Until Aug 8, I'll just have to get by with the music.
