Easter Fun

It's been a few days I know, but it takes awhile to get the pictures downloaded. I will have to post on that later so I can get to the ever important Easter pictures!

Nicole was able to participate in 3 different egg hunts. Probably a good idea because by the third one she seemed to get the concept of actually looking for the eggs.

The first egg hunt was at school, so no pictures, but she did get a cute basket from the deal, as well as a love for those little chocolate eggs wrapped in tin foil. Yeah, so far that is her favorite thing.

The second egg hunt was at someone from the ward. They live 15 east of Alpine, and Alpine is 50 east of San Diego, so really rual area. They have a lot of land and a ton of animals. They had eggs everywhere! I don't even want to know how many eggs were there or how long it took to fill all of them up with candy. Needless to say my 18 month old had no problem filling up her little basket, as well as one in each pocket with kids as old as 12 running around collecting eggs as well. Once the egg hunt was done we went up to the house and decorated a cookie. Nicole ate that pretty fast. She then got a cupcake, ate half, gave it me, and put her head on my shoulder. Time to go! Yeah! An Easter activty that is lots of fun, tons to do, animals to look at and done in an hour! Score!

Our last Easter Egg Hunt was on Easter itself. Scott, Nicole and I headed to my sister-in-law Kathie's house to have Easter dinner with Scott's family. Kathie and Nicole's other aunt Chelle hid the eggs and we all helped Nicole find them. Nicole thought she was pretty cool for finding these eggs all by herself. Here are some pics of the actual egg picking up and putting in basket activity.

Just in case anybody wants to know, Nicole LOVES deviled eggs. She must have had about 7 all by herself. She would have had more, but I had to put a stop to that.

At the end of the night there was some coloring of eggs going on. At first Nicole didn't quite get it, but she quickly caught on and at times a bit too eager to put that egg in the colored water. She was not all that happy when the eggs were gone, but at least she had fun.

And last but not least some of my favorite Easter pictures of Nicole. My little girl is getting so big!
