Just in case you haven't heard me say before but the new Mormon Battalion Center in San Diego is really cool. Nicole and I went there for a Stake Primary Activity last Saturday. While I really do enjoy the new center and program, Nicole didn't think it was all that great. It was all of the activities outside that really had Nicole loving the center.
The "creek" is where you can pan for gold. There were some very nice older kids there that helped Nicole out by showing how it's done. They got her little pan full of the rocks...

and also how to look for the gold fleks. Of course Nicole didn't like the gold peices. She liked the white rocks the best, and picked them out. For some reason she didn't want to take them home with us, or I would have gotten a picture of her booty.

They also had the fiddles out ready for the younguns to play.
Nicole really thought she was cool beans playing the violin and the song.
After the Mormon Battalion we headed out with some other kids to get some candy from the Old Town candy shop. Nicole really liked the candy corn but I wanted some buttersctoch and chocolate raisens. Good eating. Yum.
