Vacation II

Instead of altering the last one, I'll just make a new one. Not that it's hard or anything to change it, I just thought I'd keep the tragedy around for others to enjoy.

My 'vacation' started on a Thurs. It was really a stay-cation for me. Hey, I got to spend time with Nicole doing something besides cleaning the house. That's a vacation in it self. Anyway, my parents, my sister Melissa, and Charlotte and her husband Dustin all came down to see Wicked with me.

Friday was relaxed, they just wanted to walk around and hang out. It was nice. We went to the mall and Old Town. Nicole had fun calling a horse a dog. Hey, it has fur and 4 legs. Works for me!

Sat was Wicked! The morning was again, lazy, but we had the early show, so we still had time to eat afterwards and not get home late. The play was or course great! Scott and I have seen it before, but it was the first time for my family. I'm glad they were able to come down and enjoy it. Nicole got to spend the afternoon with Grandma Yoder, and I know she enjoyed that.

Sunday Nicole and I said goodbye to our company and then did too much hanging out at Best Buy waiting for Scott. We had lunch with him. The waiting wouldn't have been so bad if Nicole didn't want to be held by Daddy while he was working. She misses him while he works.

I was back to work on Thurs the next week, but while I still had free time with Nicole we did fun stuff like go swimming in the pool, take a trip to the beach, we even enjoyed the Zoo. Well, Nicole was a little scard of the giant scultures in the Elephant Odyssy, but she enjoyed it. We went at twilight, so all the large cats were very active. The Lion was pacing and growling at all of us to make sure we know who is boss. The mountian lions were ready for dinner. If there hadn't been the cage I'm sure the mt lion would have attacked. He was passing around real good and had a nice amount of saliva.

Anyway. That was my fun vacation from work. I didn't really get pictures, but that's because I was just having fun with Nicole.
